Attendee terms
These terms apply when browsing, joining, attending, paying for or discussing events on HE Connect.
HE Connect can make event planning clearer, but each family should still check suitability and make their own attendance decisions.
Before joining
Read the date, time, location, price, capacity, age suitability, accessibility, refund policy and host notes before joining or paying.
If details are unclear, contact the host before attending. Do not assume that a listing automatically suits every child, age, need or family circumstance.
During events
Parents and carers remain responsible for their children unless a separate formal arrangement is clearly in place.
Families should communicate respectfully, follow reasonable host or venue instructions and avoid harassment, abuse, discrimination or unsafe conduct.
Bookings
Free events are joined immediately. Paid events are only marked as joined after payment provider confirmation.
Refunds follow the event policy, host/admin review and payment-provider rules. If something goes wrong, preserve relevant details and contact the right support route.
