When you log in, HE Connect uses an essential session cookie so pages can recognise your account and role while you use the site.
This is necessary for trusted areas, joined events, host dashboards, admin tools and secure form submissions.
Preferences
Your browser may store map radius, approximate location preference, interface choices or cached map files so the app feels faster and more relevant.
Location access is requested by the browser. If allowed, the map can show nearby events within a chosen radius. You can block or clear this in browser settings.
Analytics
HE Connect does not require advertising cookies to operate. If analytics or measurement tools are added later, this notice should be updated clearly.
Third-party services such as maps, Stripe or email providers may use their own technical systems when you interact with those features.
