For paid events, the ticket amount is intended to go to the host’s connected payment account, subject to payment-provider rules and account status.
HE Connect may charge an attendee service fee shown at checkout. This helps run the platform.
Attendees are only treated as joined after payment confirmation through the payment webhook. Browser redirects alone are not treated as proof of payment.
Refunds and disputes are handled using platform records, event policies, host/admin review, and payment-provider processes. Hosts should not delete records connected to payment disputes; HE Connect preserves audit history for traceability.
All payment flows should be tested with payment-provider test mode before taking live payments.
