What HE Connect provides

HE Connect is a home education event discovery and coordination platform. It helps families find public events and, where invited, access trusted private listings, event pages, maps, discussions and organiser tools.

HE Connect may review, hide, disable or remove listings, messages, accounts or features where trust, safety, payment, legal or quality concerns arise.

User responsibility

Accounts, behaviour and attendance

You must provide accurate account details and keep login links, invite codes and private event information secure. Do not scrape data, spam members, mislead families, harass users or share private listings outside the trusted group.

Parents and carers remain responsible for their children unless a separate formal childcare or supervision arrangement has clearly been agreed with the host.

Payments

Paid events, fees and refunds

Paid events may use Stripe or another supported payment provider. Attendees may pay the ticket price plus a clearly displayed HE Connect service fee. Payment provider fees, payout timing and disputes are handled under provider rules.

Hosts are responsible for event delivery, accurate pricing, tax/accounting responsibilities, cancellation communication and event-level refund decisions unless HE Connect states otherwise in writing.
